About me

Since I was a child, I have been passionate about computers. Ever since my parents got me my first computer, I have been tinkering with it, which is how I got interested in programming. When I was a student, my dream was to be able to make a living out of it.

Now, I am a 20-year-old full-stack JavaScript developer, living in Bulgaria. I am self-taught and have always considered my ability to learn quickly my best trait. Don't be fooled by my age, I have worked on a wide range of projects, so even though my experience is not much time-wise, I have gained deep knowledge on different topics, as you can see in my skill-set below.

In my free time, I like keeping up with the trends in the JavaScript world. I admire the open-source community and also love reusability. I have some open-source packages and I spend time on Gatsby issues and try to help wherever I can. I also got hooked on writing articles. I think sharing knowledge is quite valuable and I want to be of help to anyone who reads them.

I like to keep it simple, as you can see from my website. I can make all of those fancy creative websites too, I just prefer to make it simply usable and intuitive. When I code, I always keep performance in mind. If you inspect this page and run a Lighthouse audit, you can see how high it scores. I have a solid understanding of JavaScript and its inner workings, especially on NodeJS where the JS engine is guaranteed to be V8, which allows me to optimize the application even further.

I also like dogs and cars (yes, cars, NOT cats).
